3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear golden. Average head. Aroma is yeast, pears, funk. Spritzy carbonation, medium to full bodied. Hoppy and bitter throughout. Bretty with some leathery and citrus notes. Grassy and herbal, very green. Dry finish with a touch of hot alcohol. Duvel meets a good saison.

Your average Belgian in scent and taste. Strong offering, good flavors and what you'd expect from a good Belgian beer

Old rating. Murky brown. Malty, Belgian yeast, candi sugar, some dark fruit. Good, not spectacular.

Many thanks to Finn for a 330ml bottle, 8 % abv. Huge chalk white head with fair duration and decent lacing. Shiny golden body. Smell of fruit and candi sugar. Flavoured with pears, sweet ripe banana, orange and caramel, lightly spiced. Mid-dry sweet fruity ending, not overly sweet though. Foamy in the mouth. Could not spot the strong alcohol. Nice and tasty (Tromsø 19.04.2015).

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Best before 11/2016. Pours a hazy golden with floating particles and a medium white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of fruits, light candi sugar and slightly oxidized. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly bitter and not too boozy. Flavors of fruits, cereals and light pepper. Body is medium, carbonation medium. Ripe and well-aged, nice!

Bottle. Big white head lasts long. Misty amber. Hoppy, malty and floral aroma. Strong, rich malts, bready. Smooth bubbles, thick palate.

Olipa kyllä aika paha kalja. Liikaa viinaa. Hyi, miten olikin kitkerä litku. Ei.

Bottle shared at a tasting at troubles’ place. Thanks . Hazy orange-amber. Sweet, honey aroma, very sweet and a little oxidized taste, dominant honey in the mouth. Smooth, medium body, sweet and heavy finish. Overly sweet and too heavy for me.

0.33 bottle from Alko. Quite decent abbey blond ale, without any abbey. A bit of hops, lots of Begian yeast. That’s it. Oh, why don’t the nuns make any beer, or sparkling wine or cider or anything?

Cloudy golden, sparkling moderately, short thin white head. Malt and yeast, bit ripe banana, slight vinous tone under. Fizzy, dry, strong crisp carbonation, citrus finish is long and bitter, light, herbs stand out. Fresh, crisp, fruity, tasty.
