3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml capped bottle pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that leaves some decent lacing behind. Aroma is orange zest and grass with some hints of yeast and cereal grains. Taste is an orange zesty and grassy hop bitterness with a generous malt sweetness and a dry yeasty finish. A nicely done brew which is medium bodied with nice carbonation. Easy to drink and quite refreshing for a Belgian beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Visual: Vintage beer is usually good; you can expect them to pay attention to details for that particular year. Shame it isn’t corked but capped instead. Pours cloudy translucent orange with a very large creamy foamy head with long retention, lots of lacing, and lots of activity.
Nose: orange citrus fruity hops with sweet honeyed malts
Attack: ultra-creamy texture, 6/10-sweetness, fresh hops
Mid-palate: caramel malts, orange citrus, grassy, yeasty
Finish: sharp bitter hops, cuts off-dry, lingering bitter finish.
Summary: Well crafted and drinkable straight out of the fridge into a chilled glass. Bitterness and crispness fade and becomes heavy as it warms up.

pours hazy light golden with a very nice frothy white head, good retention and lacing. fruity and spicy belgian malts, touch of toasted candi, grass, pepper - very yeasty, touch of tropical, low but present and enjoyable phenols. lively to moderate carbonation, light to medium body, very nice dry grassy-spicy finish. much enjoyed this one! solid belgian ale.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Clear gold pour. Very pretty, peppery, dry, belgian pale ale. Notes of grass, dusty hops, farmy belgian yeast (saison), sparkling palate. Quite quenching, an excellent BPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bière orangée, voilée avec une belle mousse et une dentelle convaincante. Nez fermier de grains frais, d’agrumes et d’herbes. En bouche, c’est campagnard à souhait; du bon jus de balle de foin. Très bon!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
750mL for $12 at La Bodega. Pours full haze glowing orange. Thicker white foam, spotty lacing. Nose is fresh peach, Taste is dry all the way, big biscuit and floral hop balance. Palate is crackery, some much fresh grist coupled with grassy hops. Quenching, balanced. No sugar. Doesn’t give off any stale hop notes. Great stuff.
