Absolutely beautiful to drink, some yeasty character but primarily this floral hop, restrained and tempting you to think ’here comes my unnecessary American IBU overload’ but it never comes. Splendid stuff.

bottle-conditioned 750ml. careful pour is lightly hazed light amber with a large off-white lasting head. rich hop aromatics of flowers, citrus / pineapple / mango, dried grass) with seemingly endless depth to the yeast (basement must, spices, dried herbs, minerals). enjoyable but muted crackers and bread crust pale malt expression. medium-light body with high effervescence and soft malt texture; strongly spicy and bitter, pithy and somewhat astringent at times, but with the malt soft as it is the hop brashness can be taken. chewy sweet pale malt sugars across the front and middle with a lingering oiliness late in a vibrant, spicy, mineral-heavy finish. lovely stuff. I wish a local producer could put something out like this.
