bottle-conditioned 750ml. careful pour is lightly hazed light amber with a large off-white lasting head. rich hop aromatics of flowers, citrus / pineapple / mango, dried grass) with seemingly endless depth to the yeast (basement must, spices, dried herbs, minerals). enjoyable but muted crackers and bread crust pale malt expression. medium-light body with high effervescence and soft malt texture; strongly spicy and bitter, pithy and somewhat astringent at times, but with the malt soft as it is the hop brashness can be taken. chewy sweet pale malt sugars across the front and middle with a lingering oiliness late in a vibrant, spicy, mineral-heavy finish. lovely stuff. I wish a local producer could put something out like this.

Dark golden with amber leanings. Elegant and plain beautiful white foam of exemplary consistency and lacing. Spicy, flowery, earthy nose is efficient yet probably not at its freshest. A complicated affair between yeast and intrusive hops. Pale malts merely watch from a distance, making for a very lean, yet fiercely carbonated body. Characterful yet noble hop bite, feeling rather green, herbal and lingering in the mouth nicely. Once you have a glass in your face, it is tough to imagine spending more than a minute without reaching for a sip, so that’s a good sign. Yeast is more on the spicy, peppery phenolic side than estery, minimal yellow fruits peaking here and there. Very dry palate with just a kiss of acidity, mostly from the bubbliness. Less citrus than I would have expected, really veering more toward white pepper and sage. Would be uplifting for many a meal.

On tap at Nuetnigenough on 12th November 2012. Hazy gold with lasting off-white foam and scattered patches of lacing. Hoppy aroma with some malty sweetness. Hoppiness in-mouth is tempered by rich biscuit malt and nuttiness - hazelnut. Finish is citric with bitter orange and some nutty maltiness. Zingy mouthfeel; medium to light body - easier to drink than expected.

Slightly hazy golden color with a massive white head. Nose is vibrant with floral and citrusy notes. Mouthfeel is sprightly with taste of citrus, apple, elderflower, heather and honey. Really quite good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen
Hazy deep blond color with creamy head. The aroma is delicate, hoppy, a bit spicy and fruity. Smooth mouthfeel, good malt flavor and very good, true Belgian yeast spicy character; strong bitterness, with resins and some hop fruitiness (bitter oranges).
A winner for elegance and harmony, with a bold character.

750ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Tea, yeast, lemon and a hint of spice in the taste. Hoppy, fruity and slightly spicy taste with notes of peach, lemon, tea and a pleasant lingering bitterness in the finish.
