Appearance is red with pink head. Aroma of cherry and funk. Taste of tart, cherry, funk, vanilla and wood. Overall a very pleasant brew.

Didn’t have a pad in front of me, so mainly from memory this
The first pours are clear dark rucy red with a pinkish small head. LAst pours with sediment are murky reddish brown. Scent is sour, acidic, sweaty, fruity, makes the "sour glands" in your throat pull together. Taste is citric, lactic, sour, fruity, horsey, still in some way balanced, for this sort of beer. Some sweetenss even around there. Mouthpuckering, sourish mouthfeel. Very low bitterness, though some possibly from cherry skin and pips. Scent and taste from fruit (cherry) pips in htere on and off, from subtle to evident, but to varying degrees. I rather enjoyed this one, not too sweet, glad they seem to be making it the old ways. I’ll buy some more for sure.

Cloudy cherry wood color, light pink head. Light acidic scent. Acidic, light cherry taste. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Pours a red color with a small pink head, which dissapears after a while. Aroma is funky and fruity with clear notes of cherries, lemon and gooseberries. Flavour is sour and fruity with funky notes, cherries, lemon and some green apples. Mediumbodied with a rather nice, refreshing carbonation (small bubbles). Finishes really dry and tart. Very nice beer.

Murky beer, violet and purle shades make colour quite similar to red currant juice. The head is thin and diminishin. Some lace. The aroma is cherryish, acidic and hoppyish. Real sour cherries and other dark fruits, wood, hoppy finish. The palate is quite sour, acidic and tart. Medium bitterness in the finish. Lingering palate, a bit sticky finish and a bit spritzy carbonation. Medium bodied. Very refreshing.

(Bottle) Pours hazy red with a small (pale pink) head. Really good looking. The aroma holds lots of lemony citrus, cherries and barnyard/horse blanket-like funk up front. Undertones tart red currant lemonade, apple juice, leather, dust, mild pepper and cinnamon. The nose is well balanced and complex. A slight touch of grain also notable. Maybe some hints of band-aid phenols. The flavour is dry and medium acidic to heavily acidic with notes of tart cherries, lemon, light tannins and barnyard. The mouthfeel is tart, yet somewhat soft. Light to medium carbonation. Citrus and cherries on the finish. Medium bodied. Near fantastic.

Bottle. The aroma is sour, nice smell of cherries, some spices. The pink small fizzy head has a rather short duration. The body is clear and red. The taste is nice sour, the taste of cherries. The body is light to medium strong with a creamy-soapy texture and a normal carbonation. A nice beer.

Lovely glowing, slightly hazy dark red with a small pink foam on top. Inviting heavy cherry aroma with notes of barnyard funk, hay, cherry pits alongside light wood and vanilla. Nice tart refreshing flavor of cherrys, some woody funk and fruit sugars. Ends on a very dry and tart note with lingering cherry sweetness and light funk. Finely carbonated mouth, slightly sparkling smooth mouthfeel.

Poured dark reddish amber, nice mouth feel, tart cherries, funky, little wood.
