COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Unfiltered.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Candi-sugar; Yeast.
The heaviest ale on our menu with a very rich taste, coming from the six different kinds of malt we use. These malts also give it that rich, dark, nearly black colour. The royal doses of Challenger and Saaz hops bring the typical balance between sweet and bitter.

Aroma of roasty caramel. Pours a deep brown with a 1 finger foamy head. Just enough bitterness to offset the initial sweet taste & finishes as a well balanced dance between the 2. One of my faves.

330ml bottle, best before 2018-03. Pour dark reddish brown with a nice foam. Aroma of sweet roasted malt. Taste of earthy herbs and caramel. Medium body, medium carbonation. Long malty finish.

Dsrk brown colour. Medium white head. Nuts, barley, caramel, roasted malts in the aroma. Sweet beginning. Hints of caramel, hints of coffee, hints of flowers, some sweetness. Caramelly finish. Rather medium bodied, medium carbonated, drinkable but average beer.

From draft at Moeder Lambic. Brown in colour, disappointing head; nice beer but maybe a bit watery for my taste.

Tap at Watering Hole. Malty nose with light chocolate, caramel and lots of dark fruit, some fig. Body is lightish for the abv and hides the alcohol very well. Some light pepper, but very muted. Very much malt forward. Sweet on the palate, but not cloying. Not bad.

Butelka 0,33 Kolor ciemnobrązowy, piana niezbyt imponująca. Aromaty wszelkie, owoce, przyprawy i w tle miód, smak łagodny z alkoholem w tle, łagodna goryczka a na podniebieniu trochę przypraw z zalegającą goryczką. Wyśmienite piwo i co nie jest bez znaczenia belgijskie jakie lubię.

Very dark brown, thick off white head. Caramel, malt, pumpernickel. Very fine perlage, malty, medium sweet. I would never guess the high alcohol.
