thornecb (1737), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Dec 5, 2006 Pours bright copper into a tulip. Offwhite fluffy head leaves sheet lacing and mounds as it slowly recedes. Sour brewing aromas. Dry with a lasting, sharp bitter finish. Palidor19 (1750), Brandon, Florida, USA Dec 5, 2006 Well, not all Belgians can be winners. This one taste off, like bad vegetables. Its got a nicely fizzy head with decent malts, but their is a subtle taste of pepper that is unpleasant. This is not a winner nick76 (2636), Tampa, Florida, USA Dec 5, 2006 The aroma has vegetables, red peppers, herbs, yeast, and malt. The appearance is orange gold with a foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma and not good. The palate is smooth. I think this is one of the most disappointing beers ever. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Dec 1, 2006 Bottle. Hazy orange coloer with a high white creamy and lasting head. Fruit malt aroma. Dominated dry malt flavor with long aftertaste.
JK (2946), Richfield, Minnesota, USA Nov 25, 2006 This is a good beer but I would be very unhappy if I had purchased this for the retail of $30. A dry, well-hopped bee. Lots of chalk. This is very well carbonated and the thick head as well as the abundance of bubbles in the golden liquid make this better looking than most. The body is fairly heavy. In addition to chalk, there is some clove and other light spices as well. Some yeast is in there but plays a minor role. Clearly well made, but I don’t know how it sells at the price they are asking. Thanks to Joebrew for this one. Theis (3617), Denmark Nov 19, 2006 Bottle at home. Squirrel-color - white head. Aroma: Yeast, resin, banana, high hopped. Taste: Yeast, hoppy, straw, dry, very dry. Hoppy finish. Something makes it unpleasant. LoveCaissa (873), Copenhagen, Denmark Nov 18, 2006 On tap at Ørsted Ølbar, Copenhagen. Excellent stuff. Not at all sweet or Christmas-like but fruity, refreshing and very hoppy. Great bitter finish. Dedollewaitor (3625), Odense, Denmark Nov 18, 2006 Tap at christian firtal Odense: Unclear golden with fine white head. Malts, hops & spices. Lively carbonation. Good balnce. easy sweetness.
