arminjewell (3107) - Parker, Colorado, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Pour out of 750 mL bottle, hazy orange pour with fluffy white head, aroma has notes of grass, earth, some slight biscuit, bread, vanilla, honey, some slight fruity white wine notes as well. Taste is sweet pear, peach, hints of grass, earth, some slight vanilla and honey, lots of spicy yeast, finishing fairly sweet but dried out by the yeast.

Bottle @ Armin’s post-Scott’s Summer Saison tasting. Hazy, golden orange appearance with a white head. Fairly floral, spicy, light stone fruity, a bit dusty aroma. A little tangy, herbal, somewhat spicy yeasty, light citrusy, pretty floral, rustic flavor. Good example of what I’d expect from a traditional Belgian Saison.

rane (709) - Nibe, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2012
Bottle. Dark golden with medium dense white head. Aroma hoppy with grapefruit notes. Taste quite hoppy for the style, rather dry. This one was too hoppy for the style by my opinion, I prefer the more classical saisons, but a refreshing beer.

Bottle from beerplanet.eu. Hazy dark golden color with huge long lasting white head. Floral hops, spices in aroma. Fruity taste with lemon, tart apples, continued with huge floral hops arrival. Dry bitter finish. Tasty beer.

Markm2151 (114) - toledo, USA - APR 29, 2012
Appearance is a hazy straw golden yellow, with a large yellow head and moderate lacing. The aroma is spicy, with minerals and a slightly citrus. Seems to be noble hops on the aroma. The flavor is light pepper, and a small hint of citrus. The mouth feel is medium body, and medium carbonation.

Finwe (195) - Grankulla, FINLAND - APR 26, 2012
330 ml bottle from Alko. Pours orange with thick white head. Flowery aroma with some malt. Citric, flowery flavour with bitter hops. Quite high carbonation. Bitter, somewhat grainy aftertaste.

Scrapersnbeer (454) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 24, 2012
White pepper and citrus aroma. A darker saison, with the pale look of a tripel. Yeasty tart apple flavor, with a surprising boozy character as well. Smooth, creamy body that’s not light enough for sessioning. Leaves behind the roots of the style in attempt to be something grander.

olio (1530) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 22, 2012
33 cl bottle.
Rated on 20110614.
Pours dark yellow color with a long lasting medium-sized head, leaves a bit lacing. Aroma of pine needles, spices, soap and some barnyard notes which gets stronger as the beer warms up. Flavor of earth, wood and malts. The typical elements for saisons are barely noticeable on the flavor. Lightly sour palate with a bitter and carbonated finish.
