750ml bottle, slight hazy honey gold hue, with a frothy white head, leaving some belgian lacing, nice spicy, fruity, yeasty nose, with some orange peel, apricot esters, with some bready dough, light honeyed pale, toasted malt accents, and a spicy herbal floral citrus hop note in the aroma follows thorugh on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, bready dough, spicy flowery lemongrass, zesty lemon, grapefruit peel hop character, with some herbal grassiness, leafy, faint honeyish pale, toasted malt flavors, with a subtle lavender petal undertone, leading towards a zesty, citusy, spritzy, leafy, minty, grassy hop dryness, bittering finish.

Oakes (13156) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 9, 2012
Hazy, tan, with a thin head. Looks good. Spicy and lightly fruity aroma with yeasty emphasis. There might even be some brett kicking around in the background of this one. Herbal, dry character. Great balance between dried tobacco hops, dusty yeast and sweet, slightly doughy pale malts. A classic saison, full of life.
