Bottle from the bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has hazy golden color and a large white head, with a lot of bubbles. The aroma is very fruity with tones of citrus, apple, yeast and some spices (I think coriander and cloves). The taste is a fresh by the CO2, a little sweet by the fruits and a little bitter in the end by the spices. The finish is refreshing, dry and long with a nice light bitterness.

I like my saisons dry and funky and this one was close. Didn't quite hit the mark but I enjoyed it.

Gli aromi fruttati ed erbacei si uniscono in questa birra. È però la luppolatura a prendere il sopravvento in maniera aggressiva facendo risultare la birra poco bilanciata.

Absolutely delicious stuff - fruity/perfumey/spicy, complex aroma, light and nougat like malt body, peppery phenols and pinprick bitterness perfectly poised in long, yeasty and extremely dry finish that screams out for another swig. the equal of dupont and easily beat xx bitter side by side. wow.

330 ml bottle from BG Birra, served in a tulip glass. Nice and bright sunrise orange, slightly hazy, with an average, creamy white head. Quite funky (cellar/basement/dusty) upfront, more so than other typical saisons, slightly grainy, fruit esters, light sugar and yeast notes. Peppery zing on the palate, nice herbal bitterness, dry and refreshing. A hint of floral and citrusy notes in the aftertaste. Zero sweetness. Average to lively carbonation, light to medium body and creamy texture. Very rustic, very pleasent.

Bottle at home; gusher. Pour is clear orange with a big white head and good lacing. Grassy, straw, husky, lemony, doughy, pepper, slightly fruity, and flower petals in the aroma. Taste is big bread, nice lemon notes, herbs, orange peel, basil, grass, and dough with a light bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Classic Belgian saison.
