3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Not very intensive fruity aroma with some Belgian yeast. Small but durable head with good lacing. Cloudy copper body. Good bitterness in taste with pleasant grassy aftertaste. Pleasant sweetness but almost completely covered by bitterness.

A decent, but average Saison. I think that I paid too much for what it was. Plenty of herbal and funky goodness, but it was lacking something...

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml Bottle. Aroma is very fruity, there’s apple, citrus in there as well as malts biscuits and the typical Belgian smokiness. It pours a cloudy amber with plenty of sediment and fizz. Its topped with a thick white head. The taste is very much along the same lines with added sweetness and a hint of burnt toast. It has a very dry finish. Not a bad beer at all tho -one of Belgians better ones.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught Third of a Pint at GBBF 2013, Olympia, London Aug 2013 - Labelled as "De Ranke Saison 7%"; but their only listed saison is Saison De Dottignies which is normally 5.5%; so this could be the wrong beer. Unfortunately took very sketchy tasting notes: Orange in colour. Cloudy. Earthy. Sour. Lemon fruity. Wheaty. Decent.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
bardzo dobre saison, mocno chmielne i goryczkowe. Orzezwiajace i lekkie w piciu. Zolto pomaranczowa barwa, lekko nawet miedziana po dolaniu sporej ilosci osadu drozdzowego. Piana spora i trwala, znacznie wystajaca poza szklanke. Bardzo dobrze pasowalo do dania czyli drobiu. Polecam

330 ml bottle. Pours a veiled and sediment filled golden with a thick, resilient white head. Aroma is lemon, yeast, bread. Flavor is peach, pear, apple, yeast, sweetbread, bubble gum. Finish is lemon, vanilla. Some brett funk. Very dry. Medium body, average to strong carbonation.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pale blond golden colour, big white head. Aroma is grainy, citrus hops like the others but less full on. Bit of bubblegum and herbiness. Taste is similar, perfectly nice, grainy saison, less pronounced than the smell. Decent enough though. Dry. Good stuff.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle 330 ml. Pours hay orange with medium lasting white head. Some lacing. Aroma: floral, yeast, light sweetness, hops, citrus (lemon), lavender... Taste is the same. Nice balance of sweetness and bitterness. Dry finish. Medium bodied and fairly strong carbonation. Rught on style, refreshing and fairly enjoyable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Small bottle that thought about gushing, 10C. Just hazy amber with a large white head that collapses to an inch and then sticks around. Floral aroma with some dusty and earthy notes, lemon. Light bodied, very high carbonation which settled down after a few minutes. Surprisingly firm toasty caramel, although there’s little sweetness, lemon, spices (white pepper, cloves). Very dry finish with fairly high bitterness. I would have liked just a touch of nectarine to make it a little more welcoming, but this is a very good beer that seems just barely tamed.
