750 ml bottle bought @ beerplanet.be. Pours hazy pale golden with a rather big frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some sticky trace and lacing on the glass. Smell is tiny fruity, tiny malty and tiny funky with crackers, cereal, hay, lemon zest, white grapes, dried crushed basil, wood, dry soil, white pepper and hints of barnyard, lemon juice and band aids. Taste is tiny bitter, tiny malty, slightly herbal, tiny tart and slightly funky with crackers, dry wood, cereal, cucumber, white grapes, dry soil, hay, white pepper, dried powdered coriander, lemon zest, barnyard and lemon balm. Mouthfeel is dry, tiny spicy astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny bitter, dry and tiny tart with crackers, lemon zest, grape skins, dry soil, hay and lemon balm. Solid...

750 ml bottle. Hazy amber with a big, frothy head. No retention. Saison aroma allright, yeasty, herbal, peppery, citrus, some clove. Taste is yeasty, peppery, spicy with some malt sweetness and slightly higher bitterness than other saisons I’ve tried. Medium body, medium carbonation, dry. Bitter after taste.
A tad too sweet and bitter, otherwise a good no fuzz-saison.

Bottled: December 11, 2015. Best before December 05, 2020. ABV: 5.5 %

A hazy, yellow to orange beer with a two finger high, white head.

Nose: Bread, Belgian yeast, honey, sweet caramel malt, herbs, spicy hops and citrus.
Taste: Malty flavor, spices, grass, orange peel, citrus and nuts.
Mouth: Dry and bitter. Medium, smooth carbonation. A little to much bitterness at the end.

I have one bottle that I will cellar fore some years and we’ll see if it matures.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5%. Golden colour, large white head. Pleasant fruity and mildly spicy aroma of saison yeast. Medium dry flavour, more spicy than fruity, with a distinct hoppy bitterness in the finish, nearly medicinal in the aftertaste.

Aroma is absolutely wonderful, fruity, citrus, malty. Appearance is gorgeous, good off-white foam with a lively but dull carbonation. Taste is hops, fruity spices, orange peel, a bit yest and hops leading to a finish of citrus and hops. Overall I find this too bitter for my liking.

Bottle. Slightly hazy orange color with big white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is estery, floral hops, a bit lemony, hints of bubblegum. Taste is fresh, floral, wheat, dough, again a bit lemony, then towards the end some spices take over and the finish is dry, quite bitter, and spicy. Thirst-quenching, with a crisp carbonation. Saison like it should be - refreshing, subtle, but still complex. Nicely balanced as well, although the finish is on the rather spicy side. I like it a lot.

330ml bottle. Slightly hazy amber color. Small size, beige head, stays. Sweetish, bready, touch of yeast, faint minerals and fruity peach in aroma. Citrusy hops, straw, bit of yeast, oranges in taste. Soft crisp mouthfeel. Spicy hops with some hay in aftertaste. Dry palate. No mambo-jambo in this one. Saison as it should be.

Pours a slightly orange, hazy gold color with dense, yet soft white head. An aroma of cotton candy fills the air upon pouring into a glass. Further spice aromas show up on a closer sniff. Big bitterness and some astringency up front which seems as if it’s from a high mineral content water rather than the hops. Spice flavors then come in before the bitterness knocks everything else out of the way for the dry, long, bitter finish. This would likely pair well with fried foods. Aroma and flavor are fantastic save for the excessive bitterness which kills the rest of the experience.
