0.3l bottle. Served in a tulip. Appearance: Cloudy brown-orange, fine, small white head. Aroma: Bit skunky, orange, coriander, cloves, cinnamon. Lots of spices here. Hints of lemon and lime. Palate: Medium bodied, a bit oily, smooth start, long, lingering dry finish. Taste: slightly sweet start, tiny hints of tartness, nicely bitter finish. Really well balanced.

Bottle @ home.

Pours cloudy muddy orange with a fluffy off white head. Nose is quite dank and barnyardy. A little spice (clove), a touch of blue cheese, some horse blanket, a touch of citrus. Flavor is quite complex. Some hay, slightly dusty, wet earth, slightly piney, a tiny bit of apple. Overcarbonated, but the body is medium. I like this style of saison for some reason. It’s not radically different to other saisons I’ve had recently, but it has much more dank and funky flavors.

Bottle 33 CL Pours hazy gold with a thin frothy head. Aroma is spicy with notes of basil. Taste is citrusy with a little bitter in the aftertaste. Quite monodimensional to me. Light body with medium to high carbonation.

Dark orange, fluffy head. Peppery nose, some tiny hints of leather and orange peel. Acidic, some malts, nice bitterness, crisp finish. This is the good stuff.

Very nice saison - all the right notes in just the right order. Peppery spice nose, creamy body delivering more spice and herbs, subtle citrus and bitter finish. Hazy golden colour with small white head and good lacing. DuPont is one of my favourite beers and this runs it very close indeed.

Keg at Six Deg North. It pours lightly hazy golden with small head. The nose is orange sponge cake, earth, spice, hay, dough and dirt. The taste is bitter, orange peel, tangerine, spice, hay, earth, wood, lemon sherbet and soda water with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty alright.
