Slayer85 (440), Firenze, Italy Jun 18, 2008 750 ml bottle. An unclear golden beer with a huge, stable and persistent white head. The aroma is very hoppy and yeasty with notes of flowers, herbs, citric fruits, earth and spices (light pepper). very attractive nose, though not so powerful as I expected. The flavour is highly hoppy, but well balanced by a good malt character. fantastic grassy notes as well as peppery hints. Quite funky. Medium body, lively carbonation, very dry and very long finish with very high bitterness, lingering on your tongue. Very drinkable and quenching. Overall a fantastic beer.

(Rating #1887) shendrix (435), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Aug 14, 2008 Well, the label does warn you, no? I had this bottled on the square in Bruges, and it tastes like chewing a mouthful of new mown grass with a side of malts...not brewed, just chewed raw. Not as bad as that might sound, but I won’t be getting another one of these. WeeHeavySD (1699), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Aug 10, 2008 Tap @ Ebenezer’s Pub in Lovell Maine. Pours gold with a bright white 1 finger head with nice lacing. Nose is yeasty and hoppy. Taste is sweet, yeasty and hoppy, slightly hoppy. Overall tasty.
