UPDATED: OCT 24, 2009 Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy golden with tiny floating impurities and a lacing white head. Sweet fruity aroma with some alcohol. Solid body, fruity, bananaish, some phenols and a rather hoppy finish. Well constructed Tripel. 211009
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (6728) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 4, 2009
Good, slighlty irregular, collapsing dense head, yellowish over well-carbonated, deep-golden beer. Very alcoholic smell, some molasses too; vanilla and straw. Faint coriander. Bitter(ish)sweet, malty taste, once more dominated by the ethanol. Coriander remains below identification treshold flavourwise. Finish & aftertaste mainly sweet-alcoholic, even syrupy. Medium bodied at least, very slick; alcoholburn. Too thick, underattenuated for a tripel. Not so very special, too alcoholic.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MiP (11783) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2007
Bottle, 8%. Malty aroma with a hint of teaish hops. Cloudy brown colour, unusually dark for a tripel. Small white head. The flavour is nicely bitter with a hint of sour rag, but not as bad as that sounds. There is also an acidic aroma-hoppy flavour reminding me more of a pale ale than a tripel.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 maupie (908) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - APR 5, 2006
This beer has a amber body - hue apperance and a fine white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had not much carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is bitter with a dry bitter wheat afther tast.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dalle (1145) - Skørping, DENMARK - MAY 6, 2005
Bottle. Coludy golden-amber with nice head. Caramel, pine, wood, herbal, liqoruice root, complex... an odd one that I liked. Thanks Jbrus.

Yeasty, fruity (citrus) aroma. Cloudy, orange coloured with an off-white, big head. Looks fine. Taste is sweet (sugar), yeasty and fruity. Some alcohol present. Not really great.
