On tap at 24th Biermatinee, Oisterwijk. Hazy amber. Balanced fruity caramel aroma. Good caramel and fruity flavours, balanced by solid bitterness. Quite British in style, but with fruity Belgian touch. Quite accomplished, actually.

Gedronken bij museumbrouweruj de roos in het proeflokaal 15 april en 22 april. Oranje helder met een flinke witte schuimkraag. Ruikt zoet, beetje bitter en fruitig. Smaakt zoet en een goed mondgevoel.

On tap @ museumbrewery de roos. Slightly hazy orange colour with a creamy full white head. Smells sweet, fresh, malts and a slightly hoppy fruityness. Tastes sweet, malts, slightly fruity and some yeast. Good carbo, medium to full body.

Martinus (872) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - APR 10, 2012
Hazy yellow colour, big airy white head. Sweet malty aroma, quite perfumed. Sweet malty flavour, light fruity. Sweet finish. Not bad, just lacking complexity.
(From bottle @ local pub near De Roos, Hilvarenbeek)

This is a top triple, one of the best in the market, good bitterness, full body, worth a try

Countbeer (1943) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - JAN 28, 2012
Bottle: Big airy and slow disappearing white head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Smell malts and glue. This doesn’t smell good. And there is a slight hint of teasty apple. Taste is a mix of mostly sharpish glue and some light bitter malts. A touch of yeasty fruit like peach and banana. Light to medium bitter and malty yeasty aftertaste. Medium carbo, tingly light sharper mouthfeel, medium body and a texture between creamy and watery. This is one of De Roos well known beers, though I wouldn’t like to advise anybody to drink this beer from this brewery, while they have other more interesting brews. Guess this is one of their lesser brews...

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 19, 2011
Semig. Relativ süffiges Tripel, in anbetracht des Alkohols mild. Test vom 13.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,12,11,11,11,11 - 11,25

Bottle at Arends Nest. Cloudy gold beer, little white head. Dry crispish palate. Highly unusual (I think Thomas said a rare yeast?). Tastes a little like vanilla ice cream but not quite as sweet!! Mild minerals and a semi dry finish. Very drinkable! Would like to try more from this brewery.

Bottled. Golden colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, alcoholic, mild glueish notes as well. Flavour is fruity, some mild hoppyness as well as some slight spicy and herbal notes. Rather plasant flavour.
