330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep dark golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly fruity, minimally strawy, peppery spicy yeasty aroma, a touch of protein. Taste is slightly bready and strawy, minimally sweet grainy, dry, minimally grassy overtones; minimally bitter hoppy and spicy yeasty finish. Full body, soft palate, smooth, gentle carbonation with still some liveliness in it.

Didn’t take proper tasting notes. Decent unoffensive tripel, that is not very pronounced.

Bottle thnx to matt. 75 cl, 06 (?) vintage. Will rerate when had fresh(er) for sure. Pours clear light blonde. Ok white head. Smell is sweet, honey and grains. Taste is sti fine , and it doesnt have any aged aspects... Wrong best by date ( wrong interpretation?) , sweet, grainy, bit bitter, slightly metallic. Natural, yet perhaps a bit sugar,. Refreshing. Nice. Curious as to what it would taste like fresh

330ml bottle (HBF2014, Saturday)
Gentle malty aroma, light grains, tons of esters. Very mellow in the mouth, lots of light grains. Full and smooth palate, nice carbonation. Easy to drink tripel. Good balance. Classic belgian tripel finish (though I prefer the more typical Dutch twist of being a bit hoppier).

Bottle, 330 ml, bought at the brewery. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV 8% Clear light orange golden colour on the body, one and a half fingers of white head, average retention but heavy lacing left behind. Not much of an aroma, some alcohol, caramel, but all so very faint. Taste begins with lots of malts, continues with fruits like peaches and alcohol. Very slighty bitter on the aftertaste, but the dominant flavour on all stages is alcohol, which is not that bad but it’s not that good either. Medium thin body, average carbonation and fair dryness on the palate. A bit disappointed by this beer, especially since the other beers from the brewery were pretty decent. This one lacks a lot, but for the price I got it and the alcohol level, makes it up at least by giving a quick buzz.
