Bottle. Dark brown color. Chocolate, caramel and nutmeg in the aroma. Almost full bodied. Roasty, malty sweet flavor with chocolate, caramel and nutmeg. Laurel. Tasty and surprisingly good.

Bottle at home, thanks to Countbeer
Clear dark brown with a red glow. Not as dark as a stout should be. Light tan head. Nice aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, black fruit. Taste is an interesting combination of roasted malts, milk chocolate, cherries and some hop bitterness. Medium body and medium to high carbo. Good brew!

Countbeer (4429) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - NOV 11, 2012
Bottle: Big, vast and slow disappearing creamy light tan off white head on top of a hazy beer with a color between ruby and amber. Smell caramel, gass, toasted barleys, hay, chalk, cinnamon, honey and a light hint of molasses. Taste is a mix of: bitter barleys, bitter malts, dry grains, slight hints of toasted ingredients, bitter dry herbal hops, slight hint of liquorice wood, yeast, light spicy, some toasted barley malts, dryness and toasted herbs. Aftertaste has lots of grains and grass with floral herbs, yeast, toast and toasted barley malts and is quite dry. Medium carbo, soft light spicy mouthfeel, medium body and a thin and light creamy texture. Strange stout, not really bad, but not really a stout either...

Draught @ De Roos during beerfestival 2012. Unclear brownish color, small to medium sized beige head that leaves a good lacing in the glass. Smell malts, smoke, earth. Taste dark malts, earth, leaves, lightly smoke. Very watery, thin texture. Low body, low carbo. Disappointing imo.
