Bottle: Big thick bubble off white head with a sparkle, which disappears quick, on top of a hazy dark brown colored beer with some flakes floathing in it’s beer. Smell is very nice: smell fresh hops, citrus, roasted malts, roasted barleys, darker fruits and spices. The hoppy character mixes very fine with the darker ingredients. Smells good! Taste toasted malts and toasted barleys, hint of bitterness which keeps on growing, some dark fruits and a hint of herbs/spices. The hops and toasted ingredients blend very well. Tasty! Luckily there are no trails of bad malts or nasty bitterness. That’s good! Medium to a bit more carbo, tingly light spicy mouthfeel, medium to fuller body and a light creamy texture. Smell is better than taste, though taste is still good. Interesting and good brew! One of the better brews from De Roos.
