3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Countbeer (1943) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - DEC 30, 2011
Bottle:
Big off white head on top of a hazy amber ruby colored beer.
Smell lots of orange, hints of malts, caramel, resin, yeast, oatmeal/semolina, meat.
Taste fruit, peach, orange, mango, yeast, hops, medium bitter and medium sweet, sticky grainy and herby.
Pretty well balanced. Maybe they’re missing something in every beer they brew, or almost every beer, the beers are not bad...
Low carbo, soft almost silky mouthfeel, medium to lightly fulller body and a light creamy texture.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2005 re-rate 4-1-05 Everybody re-rate the beers by this brewery! Since they have a new brewer the beers are so much better. Amateur character gone, infections gone, skunkiness gone. Sweet, fruity, light spicy and sparkling days are here! 6-27-02, 1.8 What are those guys doing. When my friend ordered this beer they had to open three bottles because they weren’t sure if the beer was the beer that the label said. Then I took one bottle home and this tasted totally different from the one my friend drank. The aroma was fruity but plastic. Hazy, orange colour, off-white frothy head, good lace. Sweet but very sour, soft, little fruity. Long bitter and plastic finish. The one at the brewery was much sweeter.

Cloudy dark amber coloured, nice head. Aroma of malts, yeast and some spices. Flavour is malty, sweet, quite sharp, not really pleasant. Nice finish.

When not pouring the yeast: clear dark red color, medium sized lasting creamy head. Aroma of amber malts, bit fruity, hint of chocolate even. Taste is not really complex, just malts, yeast only upon emptying the whole bottle in your glass. Bit sweet finish.

This beer has a dark blond body - hue apperance and a fine white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had no of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is sweet with a light fruity afther tast.
