Taste this from bottle @ Kandinsky with Fiona and William on 21.07.2011. Redbrown color, with beige large head. Aroma: bit roasted malts, and caramel. Medium body. Taste sweet, dark fruits, roasted malts. Not bad.

Think I sampled this at Oirschots Bierfestival 2010. Amber color, beige head. Smell malts and caramel. Taste sweet, wood, caramel and light bitter. Medium body and carbonation.

Koperbruin bier, schuimkraag verdwijnt snel. Fruitig aroma, smaak van honing en caramel. Levendig koolzuur, beetje waterig.

Bottle in a hotel room in Amsterdam. Hazy red brown coloured with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, dried fruits and overriped fruits. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel and dried fruits. Sweet finish of dried fruits.

Hazy red colour. Smells fruity, strawberry, candy sugar and sweet. Tastes very watery, some roasty malts notes. Watery/thin mouthfeel, lacking in body.

Countbeer (4071) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - DEC 30, 2011
Bottle: Small off white creme head, that disappears quick and leaves a 1/4th lacing, on top of a hazy dark amber colored beer. Smell malts, nuts, soya, salt, sea, hints of honey, barley, marzepin and a slight hint of prunes. Taste malts, sweets, caramel, barley, some hops, medium bitter, nuts, autumn herbs. Medium bitter malty herby aftertaste. Medium carbo, soft tingly mouthfeel, medium body and a light watery texture. Not that bad.

Rood/Bruine kleur.

Bottle 330 ml, bought at the brewery. Poured into a tulip glass, ABV 6.5% Nice colour, very deep orange to amber, with a clear body and a tall off-white head on top. Average to low retention, although it was thick enough. Light lacing left on the glass after swirling it a bit. Aroma of malt, a bit grainy, light caramel. It is not so strong but it is certainly appealing. Taste of light malts, light fruity, raisins, some yeast and caramel, especially on the finish. Nice balance between sweetness and bitterness on the aftertaste. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Overall a very tasty belgian ale with a relatively low ABV, always nice to fins such tasty beers from small breweries.
