UPDATED: JAN 3, 2005 Re-rate: Now brewed by De Roos themselves. Fruity aroma. Amber color, beige head, large bubbles, good lace. Light sweet, light bitter, fruity, yeasty, light sourness, long lasting fruitiness in the finish. I think their new brewmaster does a better job on this one. 09-27-02, 3.0: The bottled version of this beer is actually brewed by Maasland. Only the casks are brewed by De Roos and taste very different. The bottle version has a vegetable and yeasty aroma. Brown colour, white frothy head, good lace. Ligth sweet, medium full body, light bitter, little fruity. Short and tasteless finish.

Bottle @ The brewery. Clear yellow to golden, medium sized dense creamy white head. Smell malts, fruits, lightly hops. Taste malts, fruits, hops, medium bitter. Medium carbo, medium body.

Bottle: Medium to bigger airy sparkling dusty white head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Smell is a good mix of hops, citrus, yeast, peach, hint of apple, hint of orange, dough, hint of malts, herbs and something light bitter. Taste is good, for such a beer with such a low alcohol content, though a bit watery/weak. Taste hops, yeast, fruit, peach, orange, tangerine, low to medium bitter, malts, herbs, hint of glue. Light bitter yeasty fruity aftertaste. Low to medium carbo, watery tingly mouthfeel, medium watery body and a watery texture.

Geen heldere kleur, het ruikt naar sinaasappelschillen. En het smaakt zuur met een sinaasappelsmaakje eraan.

Hazy orange colour with a brown teint. Not a lot of head. Smells fresh, orange peel and hoppy. Tastes slightly sour, fruity. Quite big on carbo, very dry.

Gummiartig säuerlicher Geruch. Leicht säuerlicher Antrunk mit trockener Hopfigkeit. Trocken zitrusartig, anbei eine deutliche Wässrigkeit. Wenig intensiv, nach einiger Zeit ist nur noch eine trockene und milder Säuerlichkeit vorhanden, wenig hefig. Ein eher langweiliges Bier. 10/8/7/7/7/7

Hazy orange color, small white head. Pale malty, fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. A bit harsh, but fruity-citrusy flavor. Hops are also there. Slightly papery and yeasty. Decent but not very exciting.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity and nectary along with some mild yeast. Flavour is fruity, toffeeish, a bit hoppy bitterness as well as some yeasty and spicy notes.

bottle, donated by Bierkoning. Hazy golden yellow, large white head. Malty, slightly hoppy with a dusty touch and a shy underlying fruitiness.
