3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - SEP 29, 2002
UPDATED: JAN 3, 2005 Re-rate: Now brewed by De Roos themselves. Fruity aroma. Amber color, beige head, large bubbles, good lace. Light sweet, light bitter, fruity, yeasty, light sourness, long lasting fruitiness in the finish. I think their new brewmaster does a better job on this one. 09-27-02, 3.0: The bottled version of this beer is actually brewed by Maasland. Only the casks are brewed by De Roos and taste very different. The bottle version has a vegetable and yeasty aroma. Brown colour, white frothy head, good lace. Ligth sweet, medium full body, light bitter, little fruity. Short and tasteless finish.

Bottle, shared by fonefan. It’s a hazy, golden-orange beer without head. Peachy, herbal nose with fruits and some grainy malt. Peaches, syrupy sweetness, pale malts and some hoppy bitterness in the mouth. Medium body, smooth and quite dry. Short grainy finish. A boring beer, but sure drinkable. 091024
