Draught @ 9th Belgian Beer Weekend, Brussels. Clear medium ornage color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, moderate to heavy malty, pepper. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (010907)

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw and light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of coconut and light notes of alcohol and spices.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr/Ungstrup. Pours a hazy golden with tiny, floating impurities and a creamy, white head leaving laces. Aroma of fruit and yeast. Medium body with sweetish fruit and something reminding me of coconut. Fairly dry finish. 260208

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense white head. Light caramel malt, light orange peel fruity. Flavour is light spiced/herbal. Mild caramel malt base, light mellow yeast note. Ends light herbal/spiced, lingering finish.

Bottled (from lahoublonniere.be, 6.5%). Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, honeyish and caramel malty with some slight vegetably notes. Flavour is honey, spices, marzipan some green apples, leather and mild yeastyness.

Bottled. Hazy golden, no head. Honeyish nose. Sweet and crystallic with crystalli rock hard mouthfeel. In this inhospitable environment no flavours seem to blossom. Finishes joyless without bitterness.

Bottle at home. Hazy amber coloured with white floaties and a small white head. Fruity aroma dominated by vanilla with notes of flowers, spices amd yeast. Fruity flavour of vanilla, honey, spices, yeast and hops. Hoppy and spicy finish. Nice blond.

Draught at ZBF08. Cloudy orange colour. Small tight, creamy white head. Bready flavour, mild and creamy. Slightly watery. OK hint of alcohol in aftertaste.

Golden-tan colour and hazy. Fruity-bready-yeasty nose. Yeasty palate shows light fruitiness. The finish is an odd mix of dry and gluey. A workaday Belgian ale.
