3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled at the Belgian Embassy in Oslo. An unclear, brown beer with a beige head. Candi-sugar, malt, some hops and spices in the aroma, but it could be more pronounced. Sweet, caramel-like flavor with some roasted notes and beefstock. Medium body with a bit stickyness. A nice beer with nothing special to it. Very quaffable. (070301)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A Mes rate:
Draught at PBF 2006. Had this rate in my phone in my phone for 6 months and totally forgot about it. Translucent darkish amber with a very impressive tan head that vanished a little to quickly. Sweet malty aroma with some toffee. More toffee and some sugar in the flavour with what I can only describe as something fishy in there. Quite odd. Sweet finish. Fairly standard in my opinion.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught Yellow-amberish head, fast gone; over foxy-chestnut beer. Caramel, even toffee nose, sweet and coloured malts; parsley, bready - especially cakerind - even some fruity esters. Woody, wry-malty taste, hints of tannins, juniper. Light to medium bodied, and even when its MF is slightly water, it is not empty. Ah, not bad - better than the blonde anyway IMO.
