BeerandBlues2 (9766) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - NOV 19, 2008
Bottle shared by ratman. Pours hazy orange with an average, frothy, off-white head, somewhat lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, meal), average hops (perfume, grass), heavy yeast (barnyard, earth) with notes of plum, apple, pear, and ginger. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

330ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki, Belgian Weeks 2009)
Rich gold, hazy, small head. Light peachy aroma, some swimming pool. Lively carbonation. Typical belgian tripel - sweet malts, and a touch of light graininess. Some orange zest and sherbet on the finish. Plenty of light malts, and some beautiful but subtle flowery buddy hops. That would be this beer’s strong point if only they had more assertiveness to really shine.

Bottle: Clear, deep golden, small persistent white head, sweet pale-malty nose, bisquits underneath, some nutty traces and orange-peel as well; solid sweet flavour with a slight bitterness; slightly drier sweet-bitter finish, orange peel and hops detectable. O.K., not very exciting......

750 mL bottle courtesy of cletus. Thanks! Best by August 2010. Pours a hazy orange color with a large, frothy head, good head retention and lacing. Very bready and fruity aroma with notes of pear, peach, candi sugar and banana. Taste is bitter and fruity, with peach, candi sugar, banana, unsalted potato chips and bread. Full bodied.

MoritzF (8562) - Bochum, GERMANY - APR 26, 2009
(33cl bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a blond, medium-sized foamy head. Sweet and moderately yeasty malty aroma with notes of coriander, lemon and ginger. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Robust malty base, slightly sugary with coriander spice and a present alcoholic note. Medium-dry, sweet malty and slightly bitter finish with a shy hoppy touch. Needs more hops and less spices, but is still a likeable brew (26.IV.09).

Benzai (8535) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAR 2, 2012
33cl bottle @ home. Clear golden color, big mostly lasting white head. Don’t smell much. Taste malts and a some weird sweet-bitterness. Not a really triple-like beer imo. Soft carbo, low body.

Tap at ZBF. Poured a barely hazy yellow with a thin yet persistent white head that had good retention. Aroma of spices, orange peel, light vinegar. Taste is light-bodied, weak spices, stale light fruits.

Bottle. Golden with an off-White foam. Aromas are lemon and pineapple with plenty of yeast. Clean, floral, spicy hops. Flavours are sweet and fruity with grapefruit bitterness. Yeasty and spritzy with a dry finish.

Slightly hazy gold-yellow with a greenish shine; good off-white head. Greenery, greenmalt, oppressive wet malts nose. Dry, sweet malt in the taste, wet wheat. Also some extra sweetness from the present alcohol. Very alcoholic MF, certainly for a beer that is after all not that strong. Not very distinctive, neither very attenuated - for a tripel. Needs desperately some hops.

2008-12-06. Hazy golden yellow boy wiht a modest white head. (3+) Aroma is sweet, lightly yeasty, very light fruit touches. (6+) Similar flavour is on the dry side of sweet, light floral touches. (7+) Average to medium palate. (3+) Pretty solid but simple triple. Bottle shared by Swoopjones
