Gold Blond Triple. Aroma: banana scent dominates first. Taste: Has a creamy, silky sensation. Flavor: determined by a combination of subtle hoppy bitterness/spiciness and pleasant fruitiness without being overly sweet. Balanced and has an enjoyable bitter finish. The more I drink this beer - the more I like it.

33cl. Pours a dark yellow to orange coloured beer. Fine creamy and thick white head. Smells like spices, citrus and hops. A very pleasant full bitter taste with a hint of alcoholsweetness. Aftertaste ends dry with some hints of citrus and koriander. One of the best tripels I had in the past few months!

Bottle: hazy golden pour with medium-sized white head. Aroma is citrusy with some tart peachy notes, caramel, and a funky spice. Flavor is tart peach with spicy belgian yeast, a honey-caramel sweetness, some cereal, and a barnyard funk. Palate is tangy with nice carbonation which runs from sweet and spicy to a lightly tart bitter. I like this beer. It gets the funky spice right and taste good too, easy drinking.

330ml in Sierra XXX balloon at Toad in the Hole. Foggy orange with large white head that dissipates but leaves some lace. Subdued aromas of pine, warm spice, and simple malt. Flavor is a wonderful balance of forward sweetness, gentle malt, warm complex spices, and crisp bitterness. Admirably light body, aggressive carbonation. Wonderful stuff.

Yummm! Nice beer! Poured with a big, off-white, foamy head and a little lace. Color is an almost perfectly clear amber. Aroma is yeasty, dry, champagne, a little hop and a little malt. Flavor is not huge, more subtle, but quite pleasing - again yeasty, with a dry - sweet - dry action that is intriguing. Great body and excellent carbonation. Finish is very good with only a little alcohol showing a time after the swallow. Could be a session beer if you went easy.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2012 (From notes 7 Oct, 2012) Tap. Feels balanced enough. Smooth on the palate and easy to drink. Good beer.

(From notes 12 Oct, 2012) Bottle. Foam is white and porous. The beer itself is a clear copper color. Aroma is yeasty and sweet malt. Tastes malty (sweet), a bit of citrus and some bitterness. Slight carbonation but overall feels smooth. Finish is slightly alcoholic and warming; a bit bitter and sweet. Overall I enjoyed this one, both on tap and from the bottle.

Tried this on tap later (16.11.12), where it was just as good.
