Bontus (57), Belgium Apr 11, 2008 Beer of the month @ De Karper, Ghent.
Appears orange with a thick head.
Aroma is spicy, bitter, orange peels and quite nice.
Lacks a bit in aftertaste.
Overall good beer.
CafeeOndineke (3), Aalst, Belgium does not count Aug 20, 2008 I, owner of Café Ondineke, Molenstraat 47 9300 Aalst ;-) sell it for a couple of weeks now. Well balanced interesting triple. BoBoChamp (618), Gent, Belgium Jul 23, 2008 33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex, but not balanced, hazy, small head, nice brew omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 15, 2008 Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Clear golden with brief airy head. Sugary, almondy nose. Slim and dense, pretty much like a low alcohol tafelbier. Some rasinin, but whatever is is covered in thick layers of sticky sugar solution. Burning syrupy sweetness. Yikes, this is terribly unbalanced and contains not much of interest either. oh6gdx (5700), Vaasa, Finland Jul 15, 2008 Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is fruits, wood, malts and some alcohol. Flavour is fruits, some wood, mild parfumeishlike notes as well as some acidic notes. Overall very sweet, and not too pleasant. sayravai (3037), Helsinki, Finland Jul 12, 2008 (Bottled, 0.75l) Hazy golden with a small, lacy head. Sweetish, caramely-malty aroma with a hint of diacetyl. Sweet honey-malty flavor with medium bitterness and a bit too high acidity. Medium-bodied, sticky, low-carbonated. A sweetish and sugary brew, yet the acidity pretty much ruins it.
