(Bottled) Very hazy, very pale yellow color with a small, lemonadey head. The (very unnatural) banana aroma is identical to the yellow banana-shaped candies sold at least in Finland. Artificial banana flavor with huge amounts of sugar. Light to medium-bodied, sticky-sugary palate with lemonadey carbonation. A drain pour, yes - but why would such a small brewery do something like this?

Bottle. Hazy pale yellow body with a thin white head. Aroma is just like banana flavored chewing gum. Flavor is the same, artificial sweet banana. It’s just terrible!

Bottle: Poured a hazy white yellow amber with light bubbly head. Strong banana aroma. The taste is banana and not very good.

Bottle, at ZBF yesterday. Yellow color, white head. Sweet banana aroma. Sweet, too sweet taste ! This is the contrast for a brewery like De Ryck. Don’t understand why the make this beer ?

Pale jellow color, cloudy. Banana, lemon and grape sugar in the aroma. Very sweet and sugary with (artificial ?) banana. Yeasty aftertaste. Why this brew if you can brew a really good beer like De Ryck Special?

Bottled at ZBF 06. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is banana. Bad candy banana. Taste is, well. even worse. Taste like a banana lemonade, not a good lemonade at all.

Bottled. Aroma of foam banana candy. Whitish yellow color, white head, no lace. Unbelievable sweet, strong artificial banana, light bitterness. I bought it at the brewery and they told me they where aiming at the youth. Well they probably succeeded with this liquid banana candy.

Draft. My vote for worst at ZBF. Cloudy yellow. Strong banana cream aroma. Touch whipped cream and sugary notes. Taste is like a banana cream pie reduced to liquid and then carbonated. Body is thin and sticky sweet. Basically a banana flavored soda. It’s pretty bad....

Very ugly pale and extremely hazy yellow coloured. Extremely sweet and artificial. Leaves you with a very unpleasant artificial sweetener feeling on your lips. The worst beer of ZBF 2006. Without a doubt. Undrinkable.

Well .... it is a banana beer. What more do you need to say? Maybe, "banana should NOT be put in beer?" Oh yeah ... bubblegum too. What? Yup. Artificially flavored banana candy.
