33 cL bottle from ABS Drinks in Winksele, poured into a Westmalle glass. Short-lived head on an amber/orange beer. Yeast/hoppy acidic aroma. A little sweet, and tart on the palate, quite acidic and sharp, with a little citrus. Not bad but a little too tart.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Scrapersnbeer (217) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 4, 2011
Bronze beer with minor head, very mellow character. Smells like berry and citrus fruits. Tastes sweet at start and finish, but bitter enough to betray hop presence. Okay overall. Only Belgians would have the gall to refer to a 5.5% ale as ’low alcohol.’
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 sebletitje (4011) - Enghien, BELGIUM - NOV 4, 2011
draft @ Moeder Lambic, Fontainas
