Light hazy amber colour, off-white head. Fresh malty aroma, fruity, banana. Light sweet malty flavour, light sour touch. Malty finish, banana tones.
Refreshing, not too outspoken, rather nice for a speciale Belge.
(Poored from bottle @ ZBF ’12)

Watery, weak body. Aroma of grass and farts. The taste is dominated by the malts and there is a grainyness to the overall character of this beer that is disenchanting. Tried at the Bruges bierfest in 2012 with Jess and Dave.

75cl bottle. Hazy amber with a small head. Nose : bread and small note of hay. Nice, mellow esters of apricot. Sip : Watery with strong carbonation. Little sweet with bread aromas, A bit sour end with some metallic like esters. Overall, this beer is fine whenever you feel like a weak alcohol pale liquid refreshment.

Clear amber body with a white creamy head. Aroma of sharp German hops, yeast and caramalts. Moderately bitter flavour also quite sharp on the balance. Nice, refreshing but somewhat flat flavour.

33 cL bottle from ABS Drinks in Winksele, poured into a Westmalle glass. Short-lived head on an amber/orange beer. Yeast/hoppy acidic aroma. A little sweet, and tart on the palate, quite acidic and sharp, with a little citrus. Not bad but a little too tart.

Bronze beer with minor head, very mellow character. Smells like berry and citrus fruits. Tastes sweet at start and finish, but bitter enough to betray hop presence. Okay overall. Only Belgians would have the gall to refer to a 5.5% ale as ’low alcohol.’
