3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MartinT (6350) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 17, 2006
Impressions from the YeHa! party:
-A frail sheet of foam sits atop the hazy straw blond.
-An intriguing perfume of minty, spicy softness possesses enough personality for me to anticipate a special flavor profile.
-The grain’s excessive dryness is emboldened by a white pepper-like spiciness, and well-positioned herbal hops.
-The body is perilously drinkable with its fluffy bubbling and rather thin maltiness.
-A quirky little number this is; if the flavor profile had followed up on the aroma, I would have liked it a lot.
Bottle.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - JAN 27, 2006
UPDATED: JAN 28, 2006 (500ml plastic bottle [labelled as 750ml], handed over by bierkoning) Hazy amber coloured effervescent hue with a big and stable foamy beige head. Dusty and light sweet malty aroma with heavy notes of citrus fruits, orange rind and hops. Sweetbitter flavour, quite light bodied, smooth carbonated. Dry malty and citrus-fruity taste with hints of caramel. Flat and thin dry, slightly bitter and fruity finish with notes of cinnamon and hops. Definitely not bad, but unfortunately too light bodied.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Pernille (518) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2005
Clear amber color and a disappearing head. Bready aroma. Slightly hoppy, some sweetness, but all in all too thin for me to get excited.
