Light hazy amber colour, off-white head. Fresh malty aroma, fruity, banana. Light sweet malty flavour, light sour touch. Malty finish, banana tones.
Refreshing, not too outspoken, rather nice for a speciale Belge.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 ads135 (514) - Lawrence, USA - MAR 25, 2012
Watery, weak body. Aroma of grass and farts. The taste is dominated by the malts and there is a grainyness to the overall character of this beer that is disenchanting. Tried at the Bruges bierfest in 2012 with Jess and Dave.

33 cL bottle from ABS Drinks in Winksele, poured into a Westmalle glass. Short-lived head on an amber/orange beer. Yeast/hoppy acidic aroma. A little sweet, and tart on the palate, quite acidic and sharp, with a little citrus. Not bad but a little too tart.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Scrapersnbeer (454) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 4, 2011
Bronze beer with minor head, very mellow character. Smells like berry and citrus fruits. Tastes sweet at start and finish, but bitter enough to betray hop presence. Okay overall. Only Belgians would have the gall to refer to a 5.5% ale as ’low alcohol.’
