Brilliant gold, effervescent and holding up a fine white head. Aroma lime, sesame, farmyard and a slight natural yoghurt sharpness. Bright and lagery/kolsch-like with a fresh acidity, lemony spice and hint of floweriness suggesting (to me) cardamom. The fact it actually contains angelica, woodruff and blackthorn- 3 spices I have never seen declared on a beer bottle- and all of which are discreetly integrated makes me wonder how many other Belgians are aromatised with spices more exotic than we dare imagine. Just feels like a really well made German lager or kolsch, with an added pinch of...mystique. Pure sorcery.

Bottle@Home. Perfume and citrus aroma. Dark yellow, off-white head, good lace. Honey, light malty, hint of citrus, sweetish, light bitter. Full, sparkling, light alcholic. Flavourful, balanced, easy.

From bottle at Oud Arsenaal. Deep golden colour with a dense offwhite head. Fruity and yeasty aroma, hints of oranges. Dry, fruity with a mild bitter punch. As only Belgians can do it, elegant.

Weird fruity-spicy flavor with some sweetness, a bit of sourness and a slightly drier finish. Light-medium-bodied. Not too pleasant.

Some yeast in the aroma. Quite a soft maltiness to it with a light biterness and a slightly aromatic, herbal edge.

Bottled. Hazy deep golden, rich head. Fruity minerally nose. Mid sweet with creamy malt forming a mid sized body. Some honey, salt and herbsm well rouinded mouthfeel. Long bitter finish.

hazy orange, huge offwhite to white head. aroma is yeasty, faint fruity (banana), faint sort of sourish like a saison, some bitter hops, this aroma is not that strong but nice. flavor is fruity (faint honey or banana), faint flowery, spicy hoppy bitterness. nice flavorfull mild spicy yellow fruity belgian.
