Good. oh6gdx (5195), Vaasa, Finland Feb 13, 2008 Bottled. Ambery pale brown colour with beigeish mediumsized head. Aroma is yeast, fruits, alcohol and some mild herbal notes. Flavour is mildly acidic fruits along with caramel malts, yeast and some spices. The alcohol shows a bit but doesn’t disturb that much. Pretty alternative tripel, if this is intended to be one... duff (5403), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Feb 16, 2007 Bottle. Typicaly warming, strong Belgian tripel. This shows some yeasty citric qualities, with a robust warming alcohol finish. Some slightly rubbery alcohol it must be said, but not too raw or offensive. Some sugary sweetness in the mouthfeel aswell as some light acidity. omhper (10140), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 20, 2006 [Bottled] Hazy dark amber. Aroma of plums and almonds. Sweet up front. Full bodied with soft mouthfeel. Pleasantly vinous with lots of caramel and burnt malt. Some tannines dry out the finish. Complex, or downright complicated. This beer fascinates me. bask (305), Leuven, Belgium Jun 12, 2006 200th beer. 75 cl bottle, sold at ABSdrinks, 9 months after bottle date. Dark amber, brownish. Nearly no head. Trouble and cloudy texture. The last glass of the bottle has some diarrehea-like colour. Dark fruity aroma, raisins, grapes, dried fruit, some strawberry, licorice. Sweet flavour, syropy, some light spices, salt, sour. Last glass of the bottle is more malty. Light hint of alcohol in the finish, but very subtle. Totally not a triple (despite its qualification by the brewer), but a truly unique nice, well-balanced and complex beer.
