A light hazed blonde ale with a thin creamy lacing white head. A pleasant hops aroma, citrusy, resinous. In mouth, a good biscuitty malt with good hops, grapefruits, pinhey hops. A medium bodied ale. Tasted more like an APA ut enjoyed it! On tap at Arendnest, Nov. 2006.

Cloudy orange coloured, small to medium sized white head, fruity flowery nose. Fresh hoppy, biscuity malty and fruity with mild spicy yeasty notes. Pleasant lingering light bitter hoppy finish. One of the best Saison I’ve tried so far.

Draught (Arendsnest, Amsterdam)
Sharp slightly citrussy aroma. Massive dry resiny bitter taste. Long bitter finish. Not as simple as an American I/APA. Earthy hops - some pepper finish.

On tap at ’t Arendsnest. Cloudy, deep golden with a small head. Rich fruity hop aroma. Delicious hoppy flavours, a hint of sweetness, matching grapefruit and apples hops. Very bitter, but refined. Good mouthfeel. A great blond beer.

Oct, 2007 On tap at ’t Arensnest the day after the marathon Fruity, yeasty Saison style pale ale. Some spice, some alcohol weight - yet light and easy to drink. Cascade hops give an APA feel. A firm pale ale. Gorgeous. [4.3]

Very cloudy orange beer covered by a slowly diminishing off-white head. The focus is clearly set over the hops. They are both grapefruity and floral, assumingly cascades again, this seems to have a growing popularity in the Netherlands. Aromatic and fresh, vibrant offering. Its biscuity malts offer a firm support that borders chewiness. Beautifully integrated from start to finish, frank and bright. Good!
