harrisoni (5106), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 2, 2007 On tap at Kent BF 07. Cloudy orange/copper colour with off white head. Decent brown sugar rich aroma. Rather a nice yeasty, fruity flavour in mouth. Bit syrupy on the malts. Moderate fresh grapefruit hop finish. Rather good and very different to the UK beers I had. duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Feb 5, 2007 Bottle. I got a lot of fruityness out of this one. Grapes, citrus fruit and pineapple. Finish is yeasty and lightly acidic, quite sweet for the most part though. Mes_and_Sim (4176), London, Greater London, England Oct 17, 2006 A Mes rate: 33cl bottle from Quinns. Spicy malted nose with some grapes and bananas. Cloudy orange with a slight head and plenty of lacing. Spicy orange flavour with some off milk. Very spritzy mouthfeel. Bitter finish with a hint of alcohol. Otje (668), Leiden, Netherlands May 27, 2006 Draught at ’t Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Hazy amber beer with almost no head. Very malty aromas of caramel and molasses, some fruit too. Sweet malty taste. Finishes sweet and fruity. Not bad, not good either. MiP (4927), Flensburg, Germany Feb 15, 2006 Draught. Very malty aroma, bonbon. Cloudy, dark copper colour, almost no head. Very malty flavour, almost making me think that it is oxidized or at least quite old. Fruity maltiness and long, malty aftertaste. Well done to put so much malt in a 5% beer.
