Bottle, 11%. The first whiff of the aroma is of chocolate. Then there is a sweet and fruity note with a bit of sour rag. Cloudy red copper colour. Very big stable rocky off-white head. The flavour is very sweet and fruity with a little sourness. Syrupy mouthfeel, a bit too much. Peppery aftertaste, but does not taste 11%. Perhaps better after a few years in the cellar.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 erickok (1074) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JUN 27, 2011
Brown cloudy body with light tan head. Cookie dough, barnyard, spruce, hay and cane sugar. Very sweet malty aromas, especially near the end. Grapes and liqued caramel, too. Definitely alcohol, which is too much even though it gives a good fatty mouthfeel. Feels like the yeast didn’t do its job here. Not sure if this is on purpose to be honest. (33cl bottle)
