33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning. Pours an orange color (hazy) with off white rocky head. Aroma’s of fresh grassy hops and some caramel/sweetbread. Flavor is lightly caramellish sweet and lightly bitter. Medium bodied. Nice mild bitter finish. Perfect Summer beer.

330ml bottle, purchased from Bierkoning, Amsterdam, drunk on 1 May 2011. No indication of where this was actually brewed (a pet peeve of mine). Golden amber colour. Thin white head. Lively condition. Slightly estery yeast aroma - obvious Belgian character - with some sharp, citric hop notes. Reasonably bitter on the palate with tart, fruity hops. Firm, very clean mouthfeel. Slightly mineral / chalky feel. Not much like an American IPA but very pleasant - crisp and refreshing with plenty of bite. More spicy and citric than aromatic.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Nice golden body with top head. Nose of hops and citrus with malty notes. Taste very hopppy and citrus. Quite enjoyed this. Dutch getting better and better at IPA’s.
