Very good, bit fluffy, snow-white head over metallic golden beer. Very dry aroma, crying white candi sugar, alcohol. Lightly toasted, liqueur and rootspices. Again predominantly toasted malts, toast in the flavour. Has a particular, rather nice, overtly peppery finish. Reasonably dry. Not bad. Not great. Typical BDS/Heineken.

Bottle: Medium to big white head, vast but lively and changes into a complete vast and closed white lacing on top of a hazy orange colored beer. Smell yeast fruits like orange, tangerine,banana, mango and peach, some hops, herbs and some (sweet) sticky barley malts. Taste is a decent mix of malts and malty bitterness, nice bitter, herbs, yeast, fruit, orange, light peach, creamy, hops, light soapy. Aftertaste is a mix of bitter, hops/yeast fruit, light dry and something light biscuity. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, good medium body and a creamy texture. If they called this a fruit beer I would have believed it too and it would have been a good one.

Bottle.....It pours light hazy golden with medium white head.... The aroma is malt, fruit and yeast.....The flavor is sweet, light alcohol, malt, fruit, hops, yeast and spices... well balanced brew.....

Pours a pale hazy golden yellow color. Aromas of yeast, some fruit and spice. Taste is yeasty and medicinal, can really taste the alcohol in this one.

Bottle 330ml.

Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted. pale malt, flowers, moderate yeasty, spicy, light alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, yeast, flowers, sweet malt - yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111001]

Bottle @ Autumn Tasting, Ulfborg 2011. Pours cloudy yellow with a large frothy white head. Nose is yeast and fruit. Clean and tasty. Full bodied. A bit of warmth.. Pleasant.

Bottle. Clear golden with medium white head. Aroma is malt, fruit and yeast. Flavour is malt, caramel, fruit, hops, yeast, spices, medium sweet and a little bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, yeast, malt and hops. Medium carbonation.

33cl, new brew Anno 2009, from Willems Grobbendonk, complex brew, spicy/sweet and slightly fruity, balanced, clear, rocky head, nice brew

Nice strong ale based on an older beer that was brewed to serve conscripts of the Belgian army based at Leopoldsburg.
