Bottle from De Hopduvel. Blond hazy, white foam. Citrusy, wheat, bitter finish. Rather dry. Nice beer.

Blond body, nice head. Bubbly, wine like, pot-pourri, leaves. Very light, and for a Belgian ale quite crisp. Taste isn’t fairly simple, light sweet, short aftertaste, quite nice. Nothing wrong here, just a bit simple and a touch too sweet. (75cl bottle from butcher De Kapblok Leuven)

Shared with wim at my home. Hazy blond colored beer with small white head and no carbonation visible. Fruited hopped aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is hopped bitter sweet.

From a 75 cl bottle bought at Belgiuminabox. Heavy gusher, beer poured out of the neck upon opening. Loose, irregular, fairly stable, off-white head over a hazy, warm orangey ’old gold’ blonde beer. Aroma of soaked bread, soapy wheat, wet hay, grape peel, dried flowers, mouldy orange, lemon zest, breakfast cereals, apple juice, sourdough, hint of chlorine, thyme. Taste fruity, very applish, pineapple, hint banana, orange, soft carbo, deep sourish graininess, bready barley sweetishness, supple and a bit oily, floral hop bitter ending, gentle and a bit grassy. Decent, I can imagine this being a good summer quencher.

(Bottle, 0.75 l - BB 30/04/2017, at Stadin Panimobaari, 20150417) The beer poured golden and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, honey and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tartness, sweetness, Belgian style yeast, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, tart and bitter. A nice complex brew.

Pours clear blonde, good white head. Smell is nice malty, intense. Mild hopyness. Taste is bit bitter, sweet, grainy back. Spelt, indeed, but nicely balanced
