Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a slightly hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is light hop, citrus. The flavour is medium bitter with a zesty citrus, hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. An inoffensive and very refreshing pale ale and not quite what I would expect to find in the Netherlands, but i’m glad that I did.

Crossing of a pale ale and a grassy bitter belgian. Has some sweet yeast, bitter fruity hops and a touch of grainy malt.

On tap at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Cloudy amber with white head. There is a fresh, hoppy flavour to this, nicely citric with a grapefruit zest character. Good bittering notes without going over the top. Really quite pleasant.

Aroma of pale malts, some fruits, mostly citrus, some hops. Flavour is malty and hoppy. A rather restrained APA, but refreshing and highly sessionable.
