COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

A clear yellow/golden colored beer, with a foamy white head. The aroma of malts with notes of caramel with hop and a little grassy. The taste of fruity bitter hops with malt notes and yeast. The aftertaste is sweet fruit with bitter.

Copper hay coloured beer with massive frothy bubbly head. Opaque with column carbonation and yeast floating around. Salty, white pepper yeastiness with subtle fruitiness, peaches. Bread and subtle spices. Well balanced watery sour beer with a nice dry finish. Lightly leathery with subtle fruitiness and some spices - cloves. Nice!

330ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Unspecific fruity aroma comes close to apple, gooseberry, citrus, yeasty overtones. Taste is dry, minimally spicy yeasty, citrusy, unspecific fruity.

Bottle, thanks, Cunningham! Soft and seducing blond with some extra hops. Not as hyped as the Duvel with the extra hops - but this comes close.

Borresteijn (3647) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAR 11, 2013
On tap at In de Wildeman. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour, thick white head. Aroma of light citrus, very floral, light spicy yeast, light malty. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, light spicy, floral, light hoppy citrus bitter finish. Light-bodied, soft creamy mouthfeel. Amarillo is only there in homeopathic amounts, but this is still a decent Belgian blond ale.

Lesson on how to make an explosively diarrheal beer. This one pours head only, super over-carbonated. Amarillo hops are used but all I smell is the belgian yeast. It isn’t bad but not amazing................................. Finally drining it. No hint of amarillo, flavor’s gone. It is vegetal with a yeasty presence.

Pours a slightly hazy orange golden color with a big sticky foam. Aromas are a little earthy hop, belgian spice and a touch of sweet toffee. On the palate its got a up front spice with a touch of citrus. A tad bit too much sweetness overpowers the touches of grassy hops in the mid to late palate but it does remain a very drinkable beer just lacks the hop profile I was expecting.
