COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amber is eminently drinkable and well-balanced with notes of caramel sweetness; roasted malt and a slightly bitter finish from the late addition Cascades. The head on the beer is slightly off-white and laces down the glass throughout the drinking experience.

Decent. Faint roasted malts and cascade. Amber color with a cream head. Medium to light body and carbonation. Some nutty and biscuit flavors with a higher hop profile than expected. Went well with a meal.

Sample flight at Painted Horse in Bartlesville, OK. Clear deep amber color with off-white head. Aroma of toasted malt sweetness, faint caramel and fruity/citrus hops. Taste adds notes of brown sugar and floral hop bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation with light roast finish. More hoppy than expected but overall on the sweeter side. Decent.

On draught. Poured a light amber, with a small fast-fading white head. Nose was all hops, and the taste was similar. Watery, not much flavor, over-hopped. Forgettable.

Keg @ Burn Co, Tulsa. Hazy deep amber with a small head. Soft toffee and a bit of smoked chocolate. Glazed donuts dipped in brown sugar. Fat chewy chocolate malt flavor. Carbonated aside. Just a bit of woody bitterness on the finish. Medium body. Smooth. OK.

This malty amber has a slight hop surprise. I had it from a can, and it poured slightly cloudy with a moderate head. It had a full body, and slight caramel overtones. I’d love to try it from a tap.

Can @ home, thanks to Derek. Nice amber pour with a small khaki head. Smells kind of bland. Lots of toasted bread, slight coffee and roast, and a bit of toffee. Not bad. Flavor has a good sweetness up front with plenty of toffee and toasted bread. A bit of bitterness from roasted malt and coffee. Slightly dry on the finish. Okay.

12oz can pours a murky amber with some creamy, off white head. Nose is grainy, apple, cracker, light nut, some mild citrus. Flavor, especially when it warmed, was very grainy, whole grain bread, almost a little brown rice, a little grass, straw, citrus. Clean, grainy finish. Gristy.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a hazy amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet and musty grain with a hint of grassiness. Flavor has earthy grains that becomes sweet with some grass hops and a hint of sweet citrus.
