Bottle. Golden with a large white head. Aromas are lager shandy with syrup, grain and lemon. Whisky barrel with honey and caramel. Flavours are very sweet honey, sugar and grain with lemon. Some light whisky. Getting a sugar rush headache. The sweetest beer Iíve ever had. Urghhh.

Sickly sweet... extremely disappointed. 2nd ingredient is sugar, maybe sticking with bourban as the second ingredient might have worked. I canít even drink the rest of the pack. Itís that bad. If you want sweet drink a cooler or pop instead, it would be more satisfying than this beer. Worst craft beer Iíve tried to date.

pours slightly hazy light golden with a small disappearing white cap, no lacing. sugary berries - very fruity, spicy and floral agave juice, spirit - more tequila than bourbon (!), malt extract honey sweetness, creamed corn, astringent wood-like notes, toffee. light carbonation light body - oily; sugary and almost cloying berry-astringent finish. artificial flavours alert. painful.

330 ml clear bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear pale golden colour with thin white cap. Aroma is fairly sweet and fruity with maybe a hint of something whiskey-ish. Flavour is a pretty nasty sugary mess with a sort of fruity butterscotch note that has a little woodiness. What junk.

Cleaning the fridge tasting. Bottle, pours clear dark golden with a white head. Awful aroma, can be smelled from afar, and hard to describe. Artficial, bad, and malts. Then a sip... this is truly horrible. Sort of a bad ginger ale loaded with artificial sweetners and artifical flavouring. It is really bad. Really bad.

4-pack at the LCBO. Pours a golden colour with big bubble carbonation. Frothy white cap with average retention and some decent thick foam lacing. Sweet candy aromas with hints of pineapples in alcohol. The taste is sweet as well, but not too syrupy. Goes down wet. Vanilla notes with coconut over the sugar based beer. Maybe some ginger. Bourbon from England ? Coming from an American I could understand more, and would probably be better. I donít mind weird sugary commercial beers like this and Desperados, so probably a better note from me.

I tested this beer with two mates, and the nose was at first indescribable until one of us pointed out that it smells like the result of a diarrhetic misadventure. Itís an extremely awkward and offensive smell (as one can imagine). The taste was dominated by an overwhelming sugary overtone. Iím trying my best not to make this an unfair or totally bias review; but this stuff is ridiculous. I really canít recommend this at all.

UXO (1000) - CANADA - JUL 18, 2015
Appearance: clear straw with one finger of white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, patchy lacing. (2/5) Aroma: candi sugar, mild apple, faint whiskey. (4/10) Taste: strong sweet, not much else. (3/10) Palate: light slick body, moderate carbonation, sticky brown apple and slightly boozy finish. (2/5) Cloying sickly sweet with only the faintest of whiskey notes - like drinking a crap cider next to a guy whoís having a shot of bourbon. Sink pour. (6/20)

Bottle at a family gathering. How is this even a beer? Or on the website? This is truly awful stuff. There are no flavours resembling anything remotly related to beer in this "beverage". This is a cloyingly sweet, sticky, fake bourbon, woody, astringent fín mess of an excuse to get drunk. Jesus god, i wish i could give it a zero. Putrid stuff.

Bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Drank straight from the bottle but the colour is pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is grainy and sweet. Taste is very sweet with a Bourbon base. Not as bad as some other reviewers rate it but nowhere near good.

Bottle from cornershop for 50p, still not worth it. Nose is lemon, wood, some really strange artificial notes. Taste is a mixture of sugar, candies and strange notes, also sth which may remind a bit of bourbon. If you want sth like Desperados, still never ever buy this. Couldnt drink it.
