COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Drawing inspiration from imagery associated with the pioneers of America, the cornfields of Kentucky and the unusual town names of the Wild West, Dead Crow is a 5.5% bourbon-flavoured premium beer combining a light beer base with a rich bourbon spirit which gives it an aromatic bourbon aroma.

Bottle. Golden with a large white head. Aromas are lager shandy with syrup, grain and lemon. Whisky barrel with honey and caramel. Flavours are very sweet honey, sugar and grain with lemon. Some light whisky. Getting a sugar rush headache. The sweetest beer Iíve ever had. Urghhh.

This is the best and smoothest beer I have tasted. At either room temperature or cold the flavour is sublime. At room temperature the Bourbon flavour is sweet, smooth and gentle while the beer it self gives it body. Cold the beer is more dominant, but the Bourbon gives it grace and presence.

500ml bottle from LCBO. 5.5% Alc./Vol. Pours a clear deep gold colour with very minimal head/ Aroma of rye & Ginger. It tastes as if someone diluted a glass of rye & Ginger with some coors light and a touch of pina colada. I'm not even sure if I can finish it. They put way too much sugar in it. Not recommended.

330 ml bottle, served quite cool in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma: Sweet oranges/mandarins, cloyingly sweet even in the nose, lemon-lime soda, gross. Palate: Medium+ body, slick, with moderate-low carbonation. Flav.: Very sweet orange or lemon-lime soda, wtf, cloyingly sweet even before swallowing; yup, sweet, with low bitterness and a very slightly spicy, citrusy finish.

Not at all what I expected and my expectations were low. Terrible.

[My bottle (330ml) shared with HogTownHarry, jercraigs & mabel] Pours a clear golden-orange with a small quick diminishing frothy white head. No lacing. Aroma is quite sweet and not great, itís a bit skunky along with toffee, bready notes and candy. Flavour is sugary and super sweet, syrupy sugary caramel -- I donít see how someone could drink this. Average bodied. Awful, a drainpour.

My husband hated this and said he couldnít drink it. I tasted it and thought "Yum"! That said, after a few sips it was very sweet. If you like ice wine, you will love this beer. But if you like bitter beers you will hate this.

[7939-20151120] 330mL bottle. Fruity cherry cordial and bourbon chewy wood aroma. Clear, bright yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Fruity cherry cordial continues in the flavour. Medium body. Fruity and scary. (3/2/3/2/7) 1.7

2015-11-20. Dark yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma is rough, grainy, light pleasant fruit note is unfortunately brief. Flavour is unnaturally sweet, rough. Smooth sort of syrupy average bodied palate, low carbonation. Poor. 5/3/4/3/9 Bottle shared by Blankboy.

Sickly sweet... extremely disappointed. 2nd ingredient is sugar, maybe sticking with bourban as the second ingredient might have worked. I canít even drink the rest of the pack. Itís that bad. If you want sweet drink a cooler or pop instead, it would be more satisfying than this beer. Worst craft beer Iíve tried to date.

pours slightly hazy light golden with a small disappearing white cap, no lacing. sugary berries - very fruity, spicy and floral agave juice, spirit - more tequila than bourbon (!), malt extract honey sweetness, creamed corn, astringent wood-like notes, toffee. light carbonation light body - oily; sugary and almost cloying berry-astringent finish. artificial flavours alert. painful.

330 ml clear bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear pale golden colour with thin white cap. Aroma is fairly sweet and fruity with maybe a hint of something whiskey-ish. Flavour is a pretty nasty sugary mess with a sort of fruity butterscotch note that has a little woodiness. What junk.
