650ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a 2 finger white head that has some good retention and leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is bold with citrus and tropical fruits and mild caramel notes. Taste is an in your face punch of grapefruit hop bitterness with some passion fruit and caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with some nice carbonation leaving a nice tingle on the palate.

Cloudy, bubbly head, a lot of Simcoe (one of the constituent hops in the Zythos blend) and overripe peach, lots of bitterness, chewy malt up front, a bit boozy, lots of floral dry hops, finishing with a bit of blood orange marmalade. A touch chewy but otherwise, yeah, it reminds me if Dix IPA.

Clear medium copper, frothy off white head slowly settles leaving some messy lacing. Mild aroma of hop fruit and sweet malt. Fruity floral hops and light caramel malt taste, some citrus and grapefruit. Average carbonation, medium bodied, medium hopped.

Sampled at the GCBF 2013. Dark amber, off-white head. Nose is mineral water, citrus, pine. Flavour is alcohol, malt. Medium carbonation. Tastes like homebrew, maybe just a green batch.

Bottle, shared with my wife. Hazy deep reddish-orange, thick off-white head. Aroma has both citrus hop elements and sugar cookie malts. On the palate, the hops lean toward citrus with some floral elements, and the malts have a slightly toasty quality. It works or me, I liked it a lot.

Sparkling amber, small beige head.Nose of brown sugar, fruity notes.Palate seems to be all hop flavor, no noticeable malt.Bitter end of harsh alcohol and hops seems out of place. Nothing seems to mesh.

I had this from a 650mL bottle I bought at a local liquor store. The beer poured nice and amber red from the bottle with a thick off white head. The aroma was very malty with a lingering "dog-food" smell. I dont know if this was an off bottle, but the aroma was quite off-putting and the hops were very faint to non-existant. Not what Id expect from the 4 hop blend. I got zero tropical fruit, and all funk. Once the beer had warmed up, the taste was slightly better with a thin film coating the mouth with a sour rather than bitter aftertaste. It definitely didnt feel like the advertised 77 BU, and I felt their choice of shark on the bottle was quite apropos for an IPA I feel has definitely jumped the shark. This could possibly be a better beer if drunk as fresh as possible from the date of brewing, but it definitely doesnt age well. I think this was possibly an older bottle, as I was surprised to find it in the fridge at the local liquor store, I generally go to Sherbrooke in Edmonton for all my beer needs.

Large bottle. A reddish amber color with a bit of whitish head. Yum! Nice balance of hops and malts here. Both are up front, and both linger on the long finish. Very nicely done.
