3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MarkQ (58) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 25, 2013
Twist off cap on bottle! Fairly average tasting beer. Can’t really say I was blown away. Tastes like a Sleeman’s beer I had eons ago. Probably a good beer for a hot summer day...

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 blackmetal (86) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 7, 2012
A standard but more "dense" type of lager. Not overtly smooth and not much taste.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 reebtogi (3265) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 11, 2012
341ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is cereal grains and grass and citrus with some skunk. Taste is light malty sweet with mild grassy and citrusy hop bitterness and a light skunky finish. Light bodied with light carbonation. A typical macro lager tasting brew and not very tasty.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 VerticalBaconStrips (1897) - Assat, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 20, 2012
OOOO yum. Nice clear gold brew with a fluffy white pillow after some settling with some excellent lacing. Fruity aroma with grassy, lemon and soft malts make this smell good enough. Light fragrance gives way to a light toast scent. The taste is not at all disgusting as I assumed it would be. Mellow toasty malts and a light tang fend off most but not all thoughts of a grassy distraction. Light bitterness here and there. A decent brew with a long soft finish.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 turboespresso (256) - Port Moody, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 3, 2012
Bottle. I’ve had this one before. It does not warrant a detailed description. It was skunky when I tried it before, and it’s still skunky. Tolerable for cooling off on a hot day, but no more.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 probstblueribbon (2378) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 13, 2012
341 ml bottle in a mixed case from TBS, served cold in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear golden with a small white head.
Aroma: Sickly sweet grain/cereal, a bit of raw barley malt, a hint of vague fruitiness, otherwise clean and boring.
Palate: Medium body, moderately soft effervescence, fairly smooth.
Flav.: Grains/cereals, a little barley malt, kinda fruity – mainly apple juice, not much else; dry with minimal bitterness and an apple juice finish.
Dead Frogs are boring frogs.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Spab (1645) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 25, 2011
341 ml (clear) bottle from The Beer Store (part of Winter Mixer). Pours a bright, light yellowish gold with small white head. Aroma is grainy and lemony. Flavour is similar with a slight skunkiness to it. A little thin; fizzy carbonation. A cut above most macro pale lagers but nothing special.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Cirrhosis (1073) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 15, 2011
Bright light gold brew sitting in the clear bottle noisy short lived cap produced during pour, looks ok for the style. Lemony lager aroma with hints of skunk and corn. Malts come across as sweet and grainy, mild mild skunk on the tongue. Flavour is more of a lime then lemon, no bitter at all. Crisp and relatively clean. What ever if you try to compare this to most other "Beer Geek Beers" its horrible and it will fail, but if you judge based on what it is a pale lager this very good and well above average. GOOD JOB DEAD FROG!!!
