Still had some Winter Mixer packs left at The Beer Store. Last one to try and rate of the 4 different ones. Pours a light golden colour that is not filtered to the maximum (which is nice for a lager). Frothy white head, almost creamy, decent retention and good patchy lacing. The taste and aromas are lightly grainy, but with a refreshing mouthfeel, and not too thin. This would be a great lager to give to the mass, who likes the crappy Bud beers and all. I think it is a bridge to the higher micros. Recommended Canadian lager.

Blond color with medium sized head. Aroma and flavor are very crispy, nice malts.
This beer deserves some attention.

341ml brown bottle, as "Craft Selections" Lager, assuming it’s the same. Pale yellow pour, white head than thins out quite a lot but still has a clingy ring. Nose is bready and grainy. Taste is bready and strongly grainy, medium sweetness. Nothing in the finish, overall a generic pale lager.

Bottle. 5%. Plain as plain can be. Pale yellow colour with a weak, white foam. Nothing special, but drinkable on a hot day.

Clear yellow colour with a thin but complete white head that seems to last. Aroma is grassy, light lemony citrus, and pale malts. Flavour is grassy, mild bitterness, and crisp pale malts. One of the better beers in a very boring style category.

Twist off cap on bottle! Fairly average tasting beer. Can’t really say I was blown away. Tastes like a Sleeman’s beer I had eons ago. Probably a good beer for a hot summer day...

Pours a weak slight.yellow with a small white ring. Aroma is light grain and sweet honey. Taste is light grain and faint honey and malt sweetness. Boring

A standard but more "dense" type of lager. Not overtly smooth and not much taste.

341ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is cereal grains and grass and citrus with some skunk. Taste is light malty sweet with mild grassy and citrusy hop bitterness and a light skunky finish. Light bodied with light carbonation. A typical macro lager tasting brew and not very tasty.

OOOO yum. Nice clear gold brew with a fluffy white pillow after some settling with some excellent lacing. Fruity aroma with grassy, lemon and soft malts make this smell good enough. Light fragrance gives way to a light toast scent. The taste is not at all disgusting as I assumed it would be. Mellow toasty malts and a light tang fend off most but not all thoughts of a grassy distraction. Light bitterness here and there. A decent brew with a long soft finish.
