Bela cerveja. Coloração marrom acobreada com espuma bege persistente. Aroma terroso. Corpo baixo e baixa carbonatação. Final com torrefação peraistente.

Disappointing ale. Pours dark with medium golden head. Caramel overall but quite plain taste.

Lost rating from last fall. Pretty generic, as nut browns go. I suspect my third Dead Frog will be my last.

Aroma: coffee, coconut, chocolate cake, lots of rich aromas, almost can taste it just from smell alone but not terribly strong. Appearance: Beer to Sam Adams fancy lager glass, beer poured a transparent dark brown / red with a mocha colored top that leaves moderate lacing. Taste is bittersweet with notes of dark chocolate, liquorice, spices, backed by a slight sour earthy taste. Palate is medium bodied, co2 low, balanced well...but it feels more like a porter than a brown ale. Overall, not a bad beer but can’t say I’m wowed by it by any means. Solid choice though.

Pours dark brown, frothy head. Aroma of nutty malts. Taste is rather uninspiring, brown lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Found in their Winter Mixer pack at The Beer Store, now under "Nut Brown". Pours a deep copper brown colour with a nice creamy light-beige head, good retention and some soapy lacing. Mild nutty malt aromas, but mostly red ale malts, with notes of roasted malts. Mild chocolate malt taste with some roastiness to it. Very light hops, but efficient. Pretty mild overall, but creates an easy-drinking nut brown.

Aroma is mostly some nut, roasty malts, caramel and fig. Taste is a fairly bland malt profile with mostly light nut and caramel malt profile. Finishes with a fairly balanced bitterness. Appearance is a deep brown with a white/light beige head that retains fairly poorly.

Bottle. Clear, cola-brown in colour with a similarly bubbly head. Not big aroma, just light nutiness and maltiness. A little more going on in the flavour, but still light bodied and fairly simple.

Standard brown nutty, chocolate roast scent. Roast certainly dominates the flavour and a tad more bitter than other browns I’ve had. Little carbonation and not much else to say. Surpasses most commercial beers, but nothing spectacular.

Pours a clear medium brown with a small light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, nuts, chocolate and a hint of caramel. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate, nuts, caramel and then an espresso taste and bitterness along with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation make this a nice easy drinking English brown ale.
