It's a little dead to me, it's like malty and roasty, but not in a great way you know? I like it enough to rate it, maybe I overreacted, well,

Bottle sample @ Calgary International Beerfest 2014. Medium golden brown, bready caramel malts with a soft hoppy finish. Good for what it is.

Bottle. Caramel-coloured pour with a light beige head. Aroma is lightly hoppy with a bit of citrus, biscuit and coppery notes. Flavour is kind of metallic with some nice bitterness coming through. Has some ESB characteristics to the flavour. Very smooth yet fairly full bodied for a lager, although the flavour isn't great. Mixed feelings about this one.

Bottle to pint glass, appearance is a transparent dark amber with hardly any head but with good longevity. Aroma carries caramel, oak, cardboard and noble hops. Taste is much of the same though with more toffee and a bitterness/hop flavour typical of an ESB. Lager yeast does stand out and the beer finishes dry and bitter. Palate is medium-bodied, co2 medium, balance is pretty good and on the dry side. Overall this is pretty decent. Not much of a lager fan but this is good.

Amber body with nice beige head and lacing. Bready aroma with a hint of citrus. Taste has a bit of hoppy bitterness that fades to bready malt before finishing with a nice bitter aftertaste, maybe a touch of burnt toast at the end. Quality vienna.

Pours a nice deep copper colour with a decent semi-off-white head. Some nice bitterness and taste accompanied with a malty-bready amalgamation. Lively carbonation and finishes decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This didn’t suck. An unexpected surprise. Nice sweet bready aromas.. Notes of honey and vanilla. Flavors are sweet grains and some hops at the end. Good!

Amber pour with white head. Aroma is bready with some citrus hops. Finishing crisp with a hint of hops and a bready malt profile. Not too bad.

Amber color, clean, with creamy head. Malt aroma, lightly earthy. Dry mouthfeel; the body is lean; caramel flavor, with a biscuity vein; strong bitterness, some hop resins; the bitterness is just a bit too much in the end.
Good Vienna.

Pours a hazy copper with a small white head and a bit of lace. Aroma is malty, floral, toast, caramel and some biscuit notes. Flavour is mild bitterness, floral, spicy hops, toast, caramel, and Vienna like malts. Pretty tasty for its style!
