3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (10407) - Como, ITALY - MAR 11, 2012
Bottle from Point Grey, Vancouver Cloudy pale bond color with a greenish hue, and small head. Light aroma of roasted coconut, coconut butter and mint, then some feet. Light body, dry mouthfeel, with a pleasant coconut ice cream flavor, combined with some crispness and light lemon. Strange but drinkable.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 turboespresso (219) - Port Moody, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 8, 2012
Bottle. Cloudy gold with medium head. Some lace. Mild banana aroma. Taste includes banana, clove and I swear orange peel. Mild hops. Didn’t perceive any coconut in the taste. Seemed pretty much straightforward witbier flavored to me.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 reebtogi (2191) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 26, 2012
650ml bomber pours a pale golden orange color with a small white head that leaves very little lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild spices and yeast. Taste is light malty sweetness with some citrus and spice with a mild bitter finish. Light body and decent carbonation. Not getting any coconut notes at all. Ok beer, but nothing special.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Lagerboy (419) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 14, 2012
Clear pale yellow, thin white head. Spicy citrus wit aroma. Light citrusy spicy malt taste, coriander stands out. I guess that faint, strange taste that I can’t identify is supposed to be toasted coconut. Softly carbed, low hopped. Thin odd finish. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

Hazy very dull beige and a little bit of frothy head. Light coriander and vague malts on the nose. Vaguely malt-accented, with light vague fruitiness and light spiciness. Not really getting the toasted coconut.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Beershine (4729) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - DEC 24, 2011
Bomber. Pale dull ochre yellow. Stable head. Lively carbonation. Lots of rising bubbles. Aroma is surprisingly not artificial. Smells more like wit than coconut with lots of sweet yeast and vanilla cake, is very refreshing on the tongue. Light and lively. The finish is very nice and toasty although I don’t get coconut. Pretty dry but finishes a little sweet and sticky. It’s thin but really not that bad and I appreciate the restraint on the coconut, in fact, it’s got none to speak of, which means that it doesn’t have the artificial flavoring or aromas I was expecting. I think it’s pretty nice even if not the mosti sophisticated beer on the world.
